The Marketing Associate is an integral member of Judson Center’s Fund Development team. The Marketing Associate supports the Department’s goals by serving internal programs across the organization, assisting in marketing and development (fundraising) campaigns as well as provide event support. This role reports to the Director of Individual Giving and Marketing.
  • Responsible for assisting the Fund Development team with marketing ,public relations, fundraising, and special events, which include but are not limited to:
    • Coordinate, manage and help develop marketing and fundraising campaigns that align with national awareness months and Judson Center campaigns that include and are not limited to: Bring Autism to Light, and Foster Care, Where Are They Now Campaign.
    • Assist in meetings with staff and community on a regular basis to understand goals and identify key messages. Ensure agency marketing and development strategic plan support these goals and align with key messages.
    • Help with the management of Judson Center’s website. Work with interdepartmental staff to accomplish timely updates and changes as needed.
    • Oversee Google Analytics and provide support in Google AdWords.
    • Assist with drafting and editing collateral materials which include brochures and press kit information.
    • Manage the Department’s promotional items and needs.
    • Responsible for monthly agency enewsletter communication using Constant Contact. Draft content in enewsletter template working with the Fund Development team and programs.
    • Support additional marketing and development efforts of the Fund Development team and take on special projects and duties as assigned.
    • Assist with social media messaging with key marketing and fundraising campaigns.
    • Support the annual Holiday Wish program as needed.Coordinate gift lists, work with interdepartmental staff and assist donors with gift questions and drop offs.
    • Member of Judson Center’s Board Marketing Committee.Will help coordinate meetings, act as a liaison with Committee Members.This position will also be a key player in helping to meet Judson Center’s strategic plan goals for the Committee and agency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or equivalent experience in the related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in marketing, public relations and communications field, nonprofit or public service environment a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office product suite required. Previous project management experience a plus
  • Strong project management skill set with ability to proactively prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and exercise good judgment in a quick-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and express concepts clearly to different audiences while thinking critically and strategically
  • Demonstrates competence in written communication
  • Knowledge in social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Ability to show both initiative and independence in carrying out job responsibilities, while acting as a cooperative team member
Working Conditions
  • Job requires long-term concentration and focus;
  • Flexible schedule required; including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
  • Use of personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
