Manager, Major and Planned Giving

Develop and oversee the major and planned gifts program with an emphasis on corporate giving. Assist the Director in identifying, cultivating, and soliciting the pool of prospects. In conjunction with the Director, develop a strategy to build relationships and support from individuals, foundations and corporations.

Responsibilities include:

•Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of Macomb's educational and strategic programs to effectively articulate priorities and fundraising objectives.

•Manage the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of foundation, corporate and individual major gift and planned giving prospects.

•Identify new prospects in collaboration with the Annual Giving & Fund Development Manager and the Donor and Alumni Relations Manager.

•In conjunction with the Director and the Annual Giving & Fund Development Manager, develop and implement marketing programs to promote planned gifts through direct mail, internet, and personal contacts.

•Assist with the development of case statements and campaign materials; work with the Director to place articles in college communications highlighting major and/or planned gift donors
